ZeroKeepChat lets people talk privately, including with people they have not met. That combination demands clear rules and real tools. This page explains both, and how to get help.

Our position on child safety

Sexual content involving minors, and any attempt to groom, solicit, or sexualise a minor, is absolutely prohibited. There is no warning and no appeal: the account is permanently banned and the matter is referred to the appropriate authorities. Privacy features exist to protect people from surveillance and data breaches — never to shield this conduct.

You must be at least 13 to use ZeroKeepChat. If you believe an account belongs to someone under that age, please report it.

What is not allowed

  • Sexual content involving minors, in any form.
  • Harassment, threats, stalking, or hate speech.
  • Non-consensual intimate imagery, and recording or redistributing another person's photos or calls.
  • Scams, phishing, and malware.
  • Impersonation.
  • Content illegal where you or the recipient are located.

Tools you have right now

  • Block. Blocking a user cuts the connection immediately and prevents further contact.
  • Report. Report an account and tell us what happened. Reports are reviewed.
  • Skip. In random matching, leave any conversation instantly, with no explanation owed to anyone.
  • Host approval. Temporary rooms are not open doors. Everyone who enters a code must knock, and the host explicitly approves or denies each person.
  • Host moderation. Hosts can remove a participant, or remove and ban them, which severs their connection immediately.
  • Aliases. Participants see a room-scoped alias, never your email address or account ID.

Please report at the time

Because we deliberately do not retain message content, we cannot go back and read a conversation after it has ended. That is the intended trade-off of a zero-retention design, but it has a practical consequence: a report made while the session is live, describing what happened, is far more actionable than one made days later. If something is wrong, report it then.

Staying safer with people you do not know

  • Do not share your full name, address, workplace, school, or phone number.
  • Assume anything you send can be screenshotted. Disappearing delivery does not stop a second camera.
  • Be sceptical of anyone who pushes to move to another platform quickly, asks for money, or pressures you for images.
  • Use guest mode if you would rather not attach a profile to the conversation at all.
  • Leave. Skipping or closing the tab is always available and always acceptable.

For parents and guardians

ZeroKeepChat is not designed for children, and conversations are not retained, which means there is no history for a parent to review afterwards. If you do not want your child using a service with those properties, we would rather you know that plainly than discover it later. If you believe a minor is being contacted inappropriately, report the account and contact your local authorities; we cooperate with law enforcement requests.

Reporting to us

Use the in-app report control where possible, since it captures the account involved. For anything urgent, serious, or involving a minor, contact us directly through our contact page and say so explicitly so it can be prioritised.
